What is the purpose of these seminars?
Life is not easy in our fast paced, high-stress society. We are all too familiar with the relentless demands of career, family and education even while we try to carve out some time for leisure and relaxation. Sometimes it’s overwhelming and we don’t know where to turn for help, advice or simply for a listening ear. In these seminars, it is our objective to provide very practical insights in dealing with the important issues of life. The seminars will be instructional, interactive and informative, applying the wealth of wisdom contained in the Bible to your life.
What is the approach taken in these seminars?
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. As such, it will be the foundation for the material presented in the seminars. The Bible is not merely a book focused on religious belief and practice. It also speaks with relevance, authority and wisdom to the practical issues of our everyday lives. The timeless principles and truths laid out in the Bible are ones that each of us can apply to our varied situations.
Location
Unless otherwise stated, seminars are held in the Centennial Hall Meeting Room at the Burlington Central Library, 2331 New Street, Burlington from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Refreshments are provided.
There is no charge for seminars or refreshments.
